Mikael holds a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from QCM and began playing the Trombone aged 10.

Mikael has been extremely active as a performer, composer and teacher, performing in a wide variety of ensembles across Brisbane, Australia and Overseas.

Mikael has also recorded with the likes of The Doch Gypsy Orchestra, Kate Miller-Heidke, the Resin Dogs, Butterfingers, Kafka, and the West End Composers Collective to name a few.

Mikael has extensive  brass teaching experience in schools and colleges across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

I can teach from beginner to advanced. Any Brass Instrument including French Horn, Tuba, Trumpet, Trombone and Euphonium.

Any style, Classical to Jazz and everything in between. I can also teach Ear-training, arranging and Theory.
